When thinking of an education overseas, the first concern that parents and students have is related to the expenditure involved. Tuition costs will differ between countries, public and private universities, ranking, subject chosen and course duration. International students generally pay a higher tuition fees than domestic students. 
In the US, private university fees will range between US $ 30,000 and 35,000 per year and between US $ 20,000 and 25,000 for public/state universities. In other countries, the annual fees will be approximately between US$ 22,000 to 30,000.  Fees for top ranked universities will be higher and can go up to US $ 45,000 per year.
There is a lot to be gained from an international education: learning about new customs, making new friends, being resourceful and opening your mind to a whole new world. It is a challenge, but it is also an experience that is enjoyable, exciting and worthwhile.
